From sunset to sunrise, an authentic guided journey in the heart of Cortina’s mountains

On the night between 18 and 19 July 2026, the eighth edition of the Delicious Slow Trekking returns – a unique experience organised by the Alpine Guides of Cortina, offering a slow, profound and mindful way to experience the mountains.

The adventure begins at sunset in Cortina d’Ampezzo with a 24-hour trek through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Dolomites, between Passo Giau and Passo Falzarego. Throughout the night, participants follow silent mountain paths beneath a star-filled sky, guided safely by experienced mountain professionals.

It is not merely a hike, but an inner journey: time slows down, the senses become heightened, and every step becomes an opportunity to connect with nature. The route follows the trails of the renowned Delicious Trail Dolomiti, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2026, offering an intimate and contemplative preview of the event.

Along the way, Alpine refuges welcome participants even at the most unusual hours, with stops for breakfast, refreshments and panoramic lunches, while the changing light transforms the Dolomite peaks.
