The Great Ride

There is a road that crosses the Veneto region and winds its way up towards the Dolomites. A road lined with ever-changing landscapes, villages steeped in history, hills, valleys and mountains that draw ever closer with every bend. It is a road that does not ask to be travelled in a hurry. It asks to be experienced.

The Great Ride is an unsupported bikepacking experience from Verona to Cortina d’Ampezzo, an invitation to travel independently at your own pace. No stopwatch. No rankings. No pressure. Just a route to follow and the freedom to interpret it.

From the timeless charm of Verona to the legendary peaks of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, every kilometre tells a different story. You’ll pass through authentic landscapes, places that preserve the traditions, flavours and cultures that make this journey unique. The road becomes a connection: with nature, with the local area, with fellow riders and with yourself.

Speed doesn’t matter. What matters is what happens along the way. The sunrise that takes you by surprise whilst in the saddle. The silence of a valley. An unexpected encounter. The satisfaction of conquering a climb and the wonder of seeing Cortina appear on the horizon.
