Fairs and markets in the Italian Alps

Every Friday, from the beginning of May to mid-October, farmers from the Sterzing area offer their local quality products at the farmers' market. At the market in the town square of Sterzing, people meet for the weekly purchase of local South Tyrolean products or for a "glass of wine". The varied offer ranges from traditional bacon and “Kaminwurzen” , fresh and smoked trout, cheese and yogurt specialties, homemade bread, organic wines, herbs, honey, eggs to homemade juices and fresh vegetables. The “Sonnta-Hons” Market is a traditional market that spans the entire village centre of Prad. In addition to the classic market stalls, there is also a wide range of regional products, as well as food and drink.

Stalls of craftsmen, artists and hobbyists all along via Saroch with artists creating works of art throughout the day. Traditional dishes will be served in participating restaurants.
