Bolkhent – Winter Welcomes You to Alpe Cimbra

Winter has arrived, and on Alpe Cimbra a magical, festive air already lingers.
The crisp wind weaving through the streets meets the warm heart of Folgaria: bright colors, enticing aromas, and genuine hospitality welcoming all who pass through.

A special season is about to begin—ready to embrace both outdoor lovers and those seeking rest and local traditions.

Bolkhent, meaning "welcome" in Cimbrian, is our ritual to celebrate the start of this magical period and welcome everyone who wants to experience it firsthand.


Saturday, December 6
Start: 6:00 PM – Piazzetta Villa, Folgaria

A grand parade will energize the town center, accompanied by the Folgaria Folk Band, which will lead the procession to Piazza S. Lorenzo, where we will witness the lighting of the grand Christmas tree.

The Ski Instructors from Alpe Cimbra’s schools will also be present to inspire you and share the excitement awaiting you on the more than 100 km of pistes across the plateau.

Mulled wine and spiced hot tea for everyone!
