As February draws to a close, the local community gathers in San Sebastiano to celebrate the changing seasons in a lively and cheerful way. From 5:00 PM, the fun begins: children fill the air with sounds using cowbells, whistles, wooden spoons—anything that makes noise! Laughter, running, and play create a festive energy across the snow-covered fields.

In the meantime, the highlight of the evening is prepared: a large bonfire at the center of the meadow. As darkness falls, the fire is lit, and the real celebration begins. People sing, dance, and share stories around the flames, in a warm and enchanting atmosphere that brings generations together.

Rooted in the mountain traditions of Alpe Cimbra, this event strengthens the connection with nature and its cycles. "Fora Febraro" isn’t just about saying goodbye to winter—it’s about welcoming hope, renewal, and light.
