Junior Snowboard World Championships 2026 – Where Future Champions Are Born



Alpe Cimbra is ready to become the global stage of snowboarding: from March 27 to 29, 2026, the pristine slopes of Fondo Grande in Folgaria will host the FIS Junior World Championships 2026, officially assigned to Polisportiva Alpe Cimbra A.S.D. Two days prior, on March 25 and 26, the mountain will come alive with official training sessions and national team practice runs.



The atmosphere will be electric: more than 120 young athletes — some of the most promising talents in the world — together with over 150 coaches, technicians, and staff members, will bring energy, colour, adrenaline, and the magic of international sport to our mountains.



These Junior World Championships are far more than a competition: they are the forge where future champions are shaped, the place where young snowboarders (aged 14–18) begin to write their story. Here we will witness the athletes who will soon compete — and triumph — in the World Cup and at the Olympic Games.



The disciplines — Parallel Slalom (PSL) and Parallel Giant Slalom (PGS) — are among the most spectacular in snowboarding. Two athletes, two parallel courses, a direct and thrilling duel where technique, courage, and absolute control make the difference. Every run is an explosion of tension and speed; every thousandth of a second can overturn the result.



Fondo Grande will become a natural arena, a white theatre where spectators can experience every emotion up close: acceleration, the perfect lines, breathtaking falls, and the roar of the crowd at the finish line.



It will be an event that lights up the winter — a must-see occasion for those who love sports, mountains, and the contagious energy of young talents.
