On Saturday 1 August, the centre of Folgaria (Piazza Marconi) will host the Green Kids Village, a special day dedicated to families, children and anyone who wants to learn about respect for nature and the protection of the mountains in an engaging and fun way.

Throughout the day, there will be workshops, creative activities and entertainment organised by Alpe Cimbra, designed to raise awareness among young and old alike of the importance of adopting more conscious and sustainable behaviours.

The Green Kids Village will also host a stop on the Summer Eco Tour, the travelling village that brings some of Italy’s most famous tourist destinations to life with activities and initiatives dedicated to ecology and sustainability, through the direct involvement of the public.

Among the day’s most entertaining offerings is ’Games of Yesteryear’: a real trip down memory lane with plenty of traditional activities designed to entertain young and old alike, just like in the old days.

A special opportunity to learn whilst having fun, experience the mountains in an authentic way and discover the value of sustainability together.

10.00 – 17.00 – Piazza Marconi – Opening of the Summer Eco Tour village with a series of #funlearning sessions running throughout the day, a sustainability-themed play area open all day, a quiz with prizes and much more – organised by Ecology on Tour

The Summer Eco Tour promotes:
