Exhibition "Equipment: From Work Tools to Sporting Dreams"

The immersive exhibition "Equipment: From Work Tools to Sporting Dreams" tells the story of the transformation of sledges, snowshoes, and skis: from essential tools of rural and alpine life to symbols of leisure and sport. Featuring original objects from the late 19th century, photographs, film footage, and multimedia installations, the exhibition offers a fresh perspective on Alpine culture and its evolution.

For the first time, visitors can admire a unique selection from the museum’s collections, explore typical winter mountain environments recreated with interactive sets, and deepen their understanding of the connections between tradition, innovation, and the world of sport through talks and workshops.

The experience is further enriched by educational activities for families and schools, lectures and workshops (on Alpine anthropology, sports history, and interactive museology), and events for sports enthusiasts featuring local and national Olympic and Paralympic athletes, sports federations, and former Olympians.
