Christmas Market in Algund

The church square is aglow with lights, soft Christmas music accompanies us and there is the smell of mulled wine and fresh pastries - on Friday, 28th November 2025 the time has finally come again: the Algund Christmas Market opens its doors. Look forward to a family atmosphere, a large gingerbread house, Christmas-decorated stalls with gift ideas and regional delicacies to warm your heart and a varied supporting programme for young and old.

The sales stalls and catering stands are already looking forward to sweetening our Advent season with regional handicrafts, local products, hot drinks and traditional food.

The 28th of November marks the start of a series of highlights that visitors can experience:
The Friday afternoons will be totally dedicated to children - doing handicrafts, reading, dancing or decorating the gingerbread house together will make children’s eyes light up.
On Saturday and Sunday evenings, on the other hand, it’s all about music - there’s something to suit everyone’s taste, young and old. In addition, there will be a show cooking on Saturday evenings, which big and small foodies will love.
