Sommeliers and wine lovers, listen up: on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, we cordially invite you all to the South Tyrol Wine Pleasure in Algund.

Innovative winemakers and small wineries from all over South Tyrol will present their exquisite wines from 3 PM to 8 PM at the church square of Algund. The tasting list includes: white and red wines, rosé, as well as sparkling and sweet wines, which are pressed and vinified using special methods. A successful tasting also includes snacks and music, so entertainment is also provided. Traditional South Tyrolean specialties at the food stand harmoniously round off this enjoyable event.

Algund Wine Currency
We’re popping the corks on May 16th! But what’s it all about? It’s simple: at the South Tyrol Wine Pleasure Algund, payment is not made with euros, but with corks. But we won’t need a currency converter, because the rule is:
€1 = 1 cork
The appropriate wine corks can be exchanged directly at the Algund Tourist Office, right next to the event.
