On Sunday, September 13, mountain farmers in Pawigl (on the sunny southern slope of Mount Vigiljoch, near Lana) are bringing history and the ancient tradition of bread-making to life.

Program

11:00 AM
Guided tour of St. Oswald Church, followed by a group hike to the live bread-baking demonstration and herb tour.

From 11:00 AM – Festival Grounds (near Pawigler Wirt)
Small farmers’ market & food tastings
Historic grain mill & flour grinding
Live cheese-making demonstration
Traditional butter churning
Sheep shearing

1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Live bread-baking demonstration at the Stuberhof farm.

11:00 AM & 1:30 PM
Guided herb tour at the Wieserhof farm.

11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The farm shop at Wieserhof is open.
How to Get There & Parking

Shuttle Bus: Runs every 30 minutes from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM between Lana Bus Station and Pawigler Wirt.

Parking in Lana: Available at Ländgasse or Gampenstraße.

Cable Car: You can take the Vigiljoch cable car (running continuously from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM) at a discounted rate. From the top station, Pawigl is a 30-minute walk.

There is no parking available on-site in Pawigl.
