St Nicholas Parade in Koatlack Tradition

In Prad, many old traditions and customs are kept alive. A fixed part of the annual calendar of events is the Koatlacker St. Nicholas parade, which takes place every year on 4th December at 6 pm. In recent years, this procession has become one of the largest, most elaborate and most visited St. Nicholas parades in the whole country. The procession, organised by the "Koatlacker Nikolauskomitee", bears the name of the village district "Koatlack" where it begins.
