Sport events taking place in the mountains are numersous and diverse, all immersed in the wonderful alpine natural environment. From ski world championships to triathlon races, from mountain races to cycling stages. There are also numerous sport competitions of disciplines such as mountain bike, downhill, paragliding... all exciting events for both athletes and spectators.

Azzurra Summer 2026: the Italian national basketball team returns to Folgaria The men's national basketball team returns to Alpe Cimbra for its traditional summer training camp. From 10 to 20 August 2026, the Azzurri will be in Folgaria to prepare for their upcoming international fixtures, as part of the qualification campaign for the 2027 World Cup.
