A Nordic skiing race on a 1 km track completely covered in snow in the middle of summer! This is the spectacular 1K shot race in which the athletes of the National Skiroll Team, those of the National Paralympic Cross Country Team and the best exponents of the Central Alps Committee compete along the center of Livigno. Every year, the legendary pass road on the Stilfserjoch - one of the highest passable Alpine crossings - is closed to traffic for one day and only opened to "two-wheelers" and pedestrians. A starting point for the Stilfserjoch cycling day is in Prad am Stilfserjoch or also in Spondinig. On August 29, 2026, Lavarone will become the beating heart of Italian triathlon.
After three editions of steady growth, the Italian Triathlon Federation (FITri) has once again chosen Alpe Cimbra for an outstanding event. In addition to a stage of the Italian Cross Triathlon National Circuit, Lavarone will host the Italian Youth Cross Triathlon Championships. A day that smells of challenge, talent and the future.
