An International Folklore Event
For one week, the town of Susa transforms into a vibrant celebration of world cultures: the 58th edition of the International Folklore Festival "Castagna d’Oro" kicks off on 27 August!
Folk groups from countries with diverse cultures, traditions, and religions come together to share a powerful message of peace.
Throughout the week, performances will take place in towns across the region.
The grand finale will be held on Saturday, 30 August in Piazza della Repubblica, Susa!
A heartfelt farewell takes place on 31 August following Holy Mass in the Cathedral, followed by a colourful parade through the streets of the city.
"... to better love, understand, and help one another ..." – the festival’s timeless motto, more relevant today than ever.
A unique and moving spectacle in the historic city once ruled by Cozio and Adelaide!
