Guided Tour of the Parish Church of San Giovanni in Fassa
A local expert in history and art leads us on a cultural journey to discover the Pieve of Vigo.

A free guided walk through the most important historic buildings in the hamlet of San Giovanni, the ancient civil and religious heart of the Fassa Valley.
What to see:
In the ancient heart of San Giovanni, everything centres around the Pieve. Next to the church stands the rectory, dating back to the 13th century. Not far away is the Tobià de la Pieif, the rector’s barn – a monumental agricultural building that now houses the Ladin Cultural Institute. Its origins are as old as the church itself. Along the road leading from the church to the village is Ciasa Soldà, the historic residence of the Rizzi family.
