Tabor Walk

The Tabor Walk, organised by the Deanery of Fassa, is a procession dedicated to meditation and prayer. It begins at the Parish Church of San Giovanni, which for centuries was the heart of both religious and civic life in the valley. From there, the faithful make their way to the Gothic church of Saint Giuliana, located on the hill known as "Ciaslir de Vich".

The event commemorates the Transfiguration of Jesus on Mount Tabor, where He appeared in glory before the disciples Peter, James, and John. The pilgrimage, set in the tranquillity of the evening, celebrates this moment of divine revelation — a symbol of hope and faith.

Meeting point at 9:00 p.m. in the square in front of the rectory in San Giovanni.
In case of rain, the procession will be cancelled.
