This is my third time at this hotel, which has welcomed me since 2016 and has always offered me pleasant and exciting experiences! Excellent service, excellent cuisine, and beautiful pools. Friendly and helpful staff. They organized a snowshoe trip to the Alpe di Siusi for us, with a highly knowledgeable guide. Large, modern, and clean rooms. Wonderful spa. It deserves a 5-star rating!

Time out for two

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked a romantic room and it was simply fantastic. The generous breakfast buffet provided a great start to the day, and the excellent and varied dinner in a romantic atmosphere was the perfect way to end it. We particularly enjoyed the wellness area, which is very spacious. A tip: Book the private spa; it's heavenly. Overall conclusion: The ABINEA Dolomiti Romantic SPA Hotel is a perfect hotel for a romantic getaway and can be ideally combined with cross-country skiing and/or downhill skiing on the Seiser Alm. We are thrilled and will be back.

Paradise at high altitude

Its central location between Siusi and Ortisei makes these villages just a few minutes away, both for sightseeing and for taking the ski lifts to the Alpe plateau. The hotel has a large underground car park, which I greatly appreciated. Upon arriving in the lobby, you're immediately greeted with an excellent prosecco. The extremely friendly staff explains all the schedules and how the main services work. They give you a room key for each person (which isn't a given elsewhere). I stayed in a Romantic room, on the third floor of the lobby: as soon as we opened the door, our jaws literally dropped and we were speechless. A huge room with a round king-size bed, adjustable LED lighting, background music, heart-shaped sheets, and chocolates for everyone. Plus, a beautiful terrace with two lounge chairs and a small table, and an incredibly large bathroom. Everything was top-notch. Seeking a relaxing break from our trip, we visit the pools, starting with the one on the rooftop on the 5th floor: warm, clean saltwater, a huge pool with infinity hydromassage overlooking the village of Castelrotto—truly a dream. We also visit the other indoor pool, the one on the first floor, which is also incredible: enormous, heated saltwater (no chlorine) with hydromassage... we feel like we're in heaven. We round out our visit with a look at the wellness area: I've never seen such a well-equipped area in a mountain hotel. It has everything: four types of sauna, a Turkish bath, an ice room, a hay sauna, showers, relaxation areas, LED water beds (so relaxing!), privately bookable rooms with hydromassage, water games, loungers, foot and back treatment machines (foot baths), and more—in short, a true paradise. Everything is kept immaculately clean and features truly impeccable, unique, and relaxing furnishings. I'll finish with the food: top-notch dinners, traditional dishes always delicious (I especially recommend the meat: no matter what type you order, it's always tender, lean, and flavorful—truly incredible), a rich appetizer buffet, and incredibly fresh desserts. Breakfast, too, is spotless: you can find everything from sweet to savory, including fruit and even prosecco... a must! What can I say: we really enjoyed it and we will definitely think about returning. Ps: we also participated in an excursion organized by the Hotel to see the sunrise from the Alp: needless to say, everything was organized to perfection, starting from the very punctual bus that picked us up at the Hotel, to the truly competent, kind and friendly bilingual guide (Italian/German), up to the very rich breakfast at the altitude offered by the Baita Tschötsch Alm.

La posizione baricentrica tra Siusi e Ortisei permette in pochi minuti di arrivare ai suddetti paesi sia per visitarli sia per usufruire degli impianti di risalita verso l’altopiano dell’Alpe. L’hotel è dotato di un ampio parcheggio sotterraneo che ho molto apprezzato. Arrivati alla Hall l’accoglienza è subito facilitata da un ottimo prosecco, il personale gentilissimo ti espone e spiega tutti gli orari e come funzionano i principali servizi. Ti consegnano una chiave camera per ogni persona (non è scontato da altre parti). Alloggiavo in una camera Romantic, al piano della Hall, il terzo: appena aperta la porta ci è letteralmente cascata la mandibola e siamo rimasti a bocca aperta. Camera enorme, letto tondo king size, illuminazione led regolabile, musica di sottofondo, lenzuola arrangiate a cuore, cioccolatino per tutti. Inoltre un bellissimo terrazzo abitabile con due siede sdraio e tavolino e un bagno incredibilmente grande. Tutto top. In cerca di relax dal viaggio visitiamo le piscine partendo da quella sul tetto al 5to piano: acqua calda salata e pulitissima, piscina enorme dotata di idromassaggi a sfioro con vista sul paese di Castelrotto, una vera poesia. Passiamo a vedere anche l’altra piscina interna, quella al primo piano, assurda anche questa: enorme, acqua riscaldata e salata (no cloro) con idromassaggi... ci sentiamo in paradiso. Completiamo la visita dando un’occhiata alla parte wellness: mai vista una zona così ben attrezzata in un hotel di montagna. C’è di tutto: 4 tipi di sauna, bagno turco, cella del ghiaccio, sauna del fieno, docce, zone relax, letti led ad acqua (quanto sono rilassanti!), salette prenotabili privatamente con idromassaggi, giochi d’acqua, letti sdrai, macchine per trattamento piedi (piediluvio) e schiena etc, insomma un vero paradiso. Il tutto tenuto pulitissimo e con un arredamento davvero impeccabile, unico e rilassante. Chiudo con il cibo: cene al top, piatti tipici sempre buonissimi (segnalo la carne: qualsiasi tipo prendiate è sempre morbidissima, magra e gustosa, davvero incredibile), buffet antipasti ricco, dolci freschissimi. Anche a colazione nessuna nota negativa: si trova di tutto e di più dal dolce al salato passando per frutta e anche prosecco... un must!
Che dire: ci è piaciuto davvero tanto e penseremo a ritornarci di sicuro.
Ps: abbiamo anche partecipato ad una escursione organizzata dall’Hotel per vedere l’alba dall’Alpe: inutile dire che è stato organizzato tutto a puntino a cominciare dal pullman puntualissimo che ci è venuto a prendere all’Hotel, guida bilingue (ita/ted) veramente competente, gentile e simpatica fino ad arrivare alla ricchissima colazione in quota offerta dalla Baita Tschötsch Alm.

Holiday in Castelrotto

We were extremely satisfied with our July vacation. We were impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the reception staff, who were always helpful and courteous, and the attentive and very polite dining room staff. Finally, we were very impressed by the magnificent spa and the courtesy of the staff. The food is excellent (the wine list is remarkable), and the location is perfect for mountain hikes, bike rides, or even a relaxing stroll through the charming village of Castelrotto.
