It has a long history: from a fortress and seat of the Tires court, over the years it has developed into a hunting lodge and a farmstead, to become a refuge for nature lovers and lovers of good food. In contact with the mountains

When you come here you always feel at home...and the relaxation begins. The rooms and common areas are meticulously maintained, with wood as the primary material, featuring constant references to the local history. A story to be discovered, tied to mountain traditions and life in South Tyrol. The rooms are always tidy and meticulously maintained. A spacious wellness area with breathtaking views of the Rosengarten and Latemar mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site, perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, whatever the season. The restaurant, where you can taste excellent typical South Tyrolean dishes, is located in a beautiful space and offers an equally stunning view. The owner is always available and will help you with his irony and friendliness to discover all the secrets of the valley and local traditions. A place where silence and peace are refreshing!

A great hotel all around.

We spent a week at Ansitz Velseck and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was beautiful – everything from the view and the furnishings to the service was perfect! We would love to return! The highlight for us was the fantastic pool with its magnificent view. Swimming outside in heavy snowfall was a new experience for all of us. Ansitz Velseck is very secluded. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. You can't get more tranquil and secluded! However, you should always keep in mind that no matter where you want to go, you'll first have to drive down the mountain into the valley. The drive from Tiers is along a narrow road, but it's not a problem – although you might wonder if you're on the right track the first time. But you'll be rewarded with a view that is second to none! A little tip: The underground parking garage (for a fee) makes accessing your car easier and saves you the hassle of digging it out in the snow.

Everything is perfect. It's a new facility with, in my opinion, a perfect concept. It's a wonderful place with a superb spa area. It couldn't be better.

The hotel impresses with its exceptional location, a great spa area, and very nice rooms. In my opinion, the quality of the breakfast doesn't quite match the rest of the hotel.
