Satisfied

We stayed here the first week of August (a family of two adults and a 14-year-old boy). The property was excellent, with good food and friendly staff. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, spacious and comfortable. The location is wonderful, perfect for a quiet holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns in Val Badia. We didn't have a chance to use the fitness center, but we'll do so on another occasion.

Welcoming, great location and highly recommended

A hotel in a stunning location, La Val enjoys the majestic looming Fanes massif, which contrasts magnificently with the soft green pasture slopes and bolder pine forests. It's an ideal base for numerous excursions, facilitated by the expertise and advice of owner Otmar Moling. We enjoyed the cuisine, which draws on Ladin tradition while also offering other culinary highlights, the wine list, and the generous buffets. We also appreciated the spacious, immaculately clean rooms with breathtaking views. You can rent e-bikes for excursions and enjoy a sauna upon return. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent. A special thanks to Otmar, his family, and the entire staff for their helpfulness and courtesy. PS: I haven't tried it myself yet, but it also seems like an excellent base for a skiing holiday... who knows...

Excellent location

The property's location is strategically located, not only beautiful to look at (overlooking a large valley surrounded by verdant mountains and Alpine peaks), but also convenient for traveling to various destinations for stunning hikes in the Dolomites. The owners and staff are all very kind and friendly. The cuisine is excellent, featuring primarily local products, and the breakfast is international. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, in typical mountain style. We had initially booked a "standard" room, but we could hear the noise of some of the hotel's motors... so, once we realized this, we asked the owner to change rooms, even at a supplement, as we were actually booking a "superior" room. He immediately accommodated our request. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday at the Alpenrose Hotel.
