A welcoming property with always friendly and helpful staff. The cleanliness of the room and common areas is impeccable. The wellness area is excellent. The included parking garage was much appreciated, especially considering the type of room booked.

Good vibes in Alta Badia

Excellent facility! The Valentini family and all the staff are welcoming, professional, and very helpful. Exceptional cuisine! Excellent location. Elegant pool and wellness area with stunning views of the Gran Risa and the valley. Not to mention the excellent cleanliness!

Friendliness and professionalism

The recently renovated hotel's wellness area was truly impeccable! All the staff were always friendly and smiling, truly available to meet any needs. The cuisine was excellent, with unique and delightful combinations, worthy of a 4-star hotel! The family who runs the hotel was always attentive to every request. We were truly satisfied. Thank you!

Relaxing

Everything perfect

We stayed a week in July at this fabulous hotel. The owners were always friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and functional. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful. Not to mention the spa, which after our days spent walking was a real treat for relaxation and regeneration. We will definitely be back.

Excellent for location and services

Stayed in August. Excellent hotel for its amenities and location, very convenient for the ski lift. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The rooms were nice and clean, but I recommend avoiding the ones facing north, overlooking the road. The wellness center with pool was very nice, and the garage connected to the hotel was excellent. The owners and staff were very friendly. It's just a shame that the final bill didn't list the drinks ordered, but only the total amount.

Ferragosto at 3-star La Villa

We've been spending Ferragosto (August 15th) in Alta Badia for several years at a 4-star hotel. This year, we decided to try the Gran Risa, and the price difference compared to the other hotel was clear. The family room, which was decidedly unfamily-friendly in terms of space (a double room with two extra beds), and the restaurant, which offered a somewhat limited selection, albeit good quality, in my opinion. The Ferragosto buffet was truly sumptuous. Overall, it's not a negative review, but not a 5-star one like many others I read.

Beautiful and very relaxing holiday

We returned to La Villa after 18 years and enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing holiday at this hotel. We felt pampered both by the staff's hospitality and the quality cuisine. The wellness center is excellent, well-equipped, and far surpasses the standard of a three-star superior hotel. The location is excellent, both for the nearby excursions and for the breathtaking view from the balcony, especially at sunrise and sunset. Also noteworthy is the hotel's garage, with both outdoor and indoor parking spaces, conveniently accessed via keycard. Thanks and a possible goodbye to the Valentini family and all the staff.

Hotel with all comforts in a fantastic location!

Returning for the third time as a guest of the Valentini family is always a guarantee. The hotel is in a fantastic location for hiking and cycling and offers fantastic views of the Gran Risa and the Dolomites. The hotel is equipped with all comforts and the staff is very professional and welcoming. The excellent cuisine is also worth mentioning; in addition to the super-stocked breakfast buffet, dinner always offers excellent dishes (including the fantastic weekly Ladin dinner). If I return to Alta Badia I will definitely return to the Hotel Gran Risa.

Optimal solution

We highly recommend this family-run hotel, where practically everything is perfect: from the location just meters from the cable car station, to the rooms, the warm welcome and kindness of the entire staff, the wellness center, the more than satisfactory cuisine, and the ski room with even individual lockers for each room. We couldn't find anything we weren't happy with, and we'll definitely be back!

We will definitely be returning...!

And we returned in December 2018. We had a great holiday, the staff He was friendly and professional, the food was excellent, and the hotel's location was exceptional for skiers, just 10 meters from the gondola. And after a day of skiing, you could relax in the wellness center. See you in 2019.
