I've been coming to Val Badia for many years, and this year I had trouble booking hotels I'd stayed at in previous years. I chose randomly and was pleasantly surprised. The location is unique: incredibly quiet and... right on the Sponata slope! All the staff were attentive to their guests' needs and extremely courteous. The cuisine was excellent in both quality and quantity, with customizable menus available. The rooms were upscale for the type of hotel; room 23 had a bathroom window overlooking the beautiful view of the valley! The fitness area was brand new, with a spotlessly clean and well-heated indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi—a real treat for those who love snow-side hydromassage. Finally, excellent value for money. Frequento la Val Badia da molti anni e quest’anno ho avuto problemi nel prenotare strutture che avevo frequentato negli anni passati. Ho scelto a caso e sono rimasto sorpreso favorevolmente. L’ubicazione è unica: posto tranquillissimo e poi... direttamente sulla pista Sponata! Tutto la staff attento alle esigenze dei clienti e cortesissimo. Cucina ottima per qualità e quantità con menu anche personalizzati. Stanze di livello per la tipologia di hotel, la 23 aveva una finestra in bagno a vista sul bel panorama della Valle! Area fitness nuova di zecca, con piscina interna pulitissima e ben riscaldata e iacuzzi esterna, una vera chicca per gli amanti di idromassaggio a bordo neve. Infine un ottimo rapporto prezzo qualità. Ci tornerò certamente. Un saluto e grazie a tutto lo staff.

We spent a week there in January. The staff was truly fantastic, the food was excellent and plentiful, although the breakfast and vegetable buffet was a bit monotonous.
Excellent services, new and very clean spa and pool, the only flaw is that the pool water is a bit cold, even the outdoor hot tub if you go in the early afternoon.
Excellent location for skiers, direct access to the Sponata red slope.
There's a well-maintained, well-equipped lake next to the hotel where you can skate and play curling.
Nice children's playroom, with a TV, foosball, and a hockey game (hand and airless), as well as two tables with benches.
There is the possibility of having dinner brought forward for children at 7 pm by choosing from the menu, and from 7:30 pm onwards there is the possibility of requesting a babysitter in the games room until the end of dinner at 9:30 pm.
In my opinion, they should take a bit more care of the play area, especially since it's under the hotel and near the wellness area, so it's a bit damp.

Abbiamo passato una settimana in gennaio, il personale è veramente fantastico, la cucina ottima e abbondante anche se il buffet della colazione e delle verdure è un po’ monotono.
Servizi ottimi, SPA e piscina nuovi e pulitissimi, unico neo acqua della piscina un po’ fredda, anche quella dell’idromassaggio esterno se si va nel primo pomeriggio.
Posizione ottima per gli sciatori, partenza diretta sulla pista rossa Sponata.
Laghetto attrezzato a fianco dell’hotel dove è possibile pattinare e giocare a curling, molto interessante e curato.
Sala giochi per bambini carina, vi è una tv, un biliardino e un gioco di hockey (a mano e senza aria) e infine due tavolini con panche.
Vi è la possibilità di anticipare la cena per i bambini alle 19 scegliendo dal menù, e dalle 19.30 possibilità di richiesta baby sitter in sala giochi fino a fine cena ore 21.30.
A mio avviso, dovrebbero curare l’area giochi un po’ di più anche perchè essendo sotto l’hotel e vicino alla zona wellness è un pò umida.
Nel complesso consiglio vivamente questo hotel.

We spent peaceful and relaxing days at Lech da Sompunt, fully enjoying the beauty of the mountains, the top-notch services of the facility, and the exquisite goodness of the dishes prepared by the chef.
Manfred, Francesca, and the entire staff are always available to offer advice and welcome everyone into their home with a warm smile. Manfred's mother, who at over 80 works tirelessly, is the star of the Thursday Ladin dinner, after which she was duly applauded for preparing, along with the rest of the staff, a feast of mouth-watering dishes (we had seconds of the barley soup, the best we've ever had!).
Dinner features a buffet of cooked and raw vegetables, accompanied by a different selection each evening (fish, meat, etc.), which is a great start. The numerous courses are all generously portioned (choice of one first course or one second course every other day), beautifully presented, and truly amazing in taste and flavor. We've rarely eaten so well at a hotel. My heartfelt compliments to the chef, too, for the breakfast buffet, which changes every day and is filled with mouth-watering sweet treats (along with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, cured meats, cheeses, eggs, all kinds of bread, and jams!), along with freshly prepared hot drinks and soy milk for those who are lactose intolerant.
The glass-enclosed swimming pool overlooking the Fanes-Senes-Braies mountain range is fantastic, the outdoor whirlpool is delightful (although small), and the spa is wonderful, with a Turkish bath, sauna (which can be accessed without a swimsuit), relaxation room, herbal tea corner, massage room, and gym.
The first nights we stayed in a standard attic room and we had a great time as the cleanliness was top notch and also the soundproofing, while on the last night (we extended our stay because we were so comfortable!) they gave us 1 Comfort room with balcony for the same price as the Standard, definitely nicer!
Hotel with ample parking, convenient to numerous hiking trails, just a few kilometers from La Villa and Badia, and a restaurant open to non-residents. The property also includes two residences, one attached to the hotel and located on the lake with an adjoining bistro, and the other a few meters above, along the trail leading to La Villa.

Abbiamo trascorso giorni sereni e rilassanti al Lech da Sompunt, godendo appieno della bellezza dei monti, dei servizi al top della struttura e della squisita bontà dei piatti preparati dallo chef.
Manfred, Francesca e tutto lo staff sono sempre disponibili a dare consigli e con un caldo sorriso accolgono tutti nella loro casa; sorprendente la mamma di Manfred, che ad oltre 80 anni lavora tantissimo ed è lei la regina della cena ladina del giovedì, al termine della quale è stata applaudita a dovere per aver allestito assieme al restante personale un banchetto di pietanze gustose da leccarsi i baffi (abbiamo fatto il bis della zuppa d’orzo, la più buona mai mangiata prima!).
La cena prevede un buffet di verdure cotte e crude accompagnato da varianti diverse ogni sera (pesce, carne, ecc.) che è già un ottimo inizio e numerose portate, tutte in porzioni non esagerate (scelta di 1 primo oppure 1 secondo a giorni alterni), presentate bene e davvero strepitose nel gusto e nei sapori: raramente abbiamo mangiato così bene in albergo, davvero super complimenti allo chef anche per il buffet a colazione, sempre diverso ogni giorno e pieno di leccornie dolci da far girare la testa (assieme a frutta fresca, yogurt, cereali, salumi, formaggi, uova, pane di ogni tipo, marmellate!), con bevande calde preparate al momento e latte di soia per gli intolleranti al lattosio.
Fantastica la piscina con vetrata sul gruppo Fanes-Senes-Braies, delizioso (anche se piccolo) l’idromassaggio esterno, stupenda la spa con bagno turco, sauna (a cui si accede senza costume), sala relax, angolo tisaneria, sala massaggi e palestra.
Le prime notti siamo stati in una camera standard mansardata e siamo stati benissimo in quanto la pulizia è al top ed anche l’insonorizzazione mentre l’ultima notte (abbiamo prolungato il soggiorno perché stavamo troppo bene!) ci hanno dato 1 Comfort con balcone allo stesso prezzo della Standard, decisamente più bella!
Hotel con grande parcheggio, comodo a numerosi sentieri, a pochi km da La Villa e Badia, ristorante aperto anche agli esterni; la proprietà possiede anche 2 residence di cui 1 attaccato all’hotel e posizionato sul lago con annesso bistrot e l’altro pochi metri sopra, lungo il sentiero che porta a La Villa.
Grazie a tutti per averci fatto stare così bene! Torneremo di sicuro!

Tutto sempre incantevole, ospitalità , camere, servizi e ristorante.
La comodità di essere già in pista al mattino, appena fuori 30 metri dall’albergo è il massimo per chi ama sciare.
