Wonderful Ski Holiday

I booked a ski holiday for myself and 5 friends at the hotel pension Mirandola in Colfosco. We were very fortunate with the weather as we skied on powder snow in sunshine for most of the week, but what really helped us to enjoy our holiday was the family Alfrieder they received us with the best of welcome. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable with en suite and balcony in every room. The food was excellent, if not better than in some 4 star hotels I have stayed at, we were able to start the day with a very good buffet breakfast including fresh boiled eggs. Evening meal was a wonderful buffet followed by a three course dinner: we had a choice of three starters, three main courses and choice of three sweets, all cooked to perfection. The hotel was run by Rudolf Alfrieder and his wife Patricia, we were all given the best of attention, it was like being one of the family. Nothing was too much trouble, our rooms were cleaned every day, I would recommend this lovely little hotel to every one if you want a good reasonably priced hotel.
