The family atmosphere makes you feel at home, even though you're far from home. The landscape is a feast for the eyes, breakfast and dinner are satisfying, and the proximity to hiking trails and ski slopes is easy on the mind. Any problem, if brought to the attention of Mrs. Elsa, is always promptly addressed. What more can I say, other than a heartfelt "thank you" and the hope to return soon?

Sci, trekking, relax per adulti e bambini
L’ambiente familiare ti fa sentire a casa, pur essendo lontano da casa. Il paesaggio appaga la vista, la colazione e la cena soddisfano il palato, e la vicinanza ai percorsi di trekking e alle piste da sci non impegna la mente. Qualsiasi problema, se esposto alla signora Elsa, trova sempre pronta soluzione. Cos’altro aggiungere, se non un sentito "grazie" e la speranza di tornare presto?

The hotel has been renovated in both aesthetics and functionality since last year: some rooms have been enlarged and furnished in a modern style, others remain in mountain style, some with balconies, others with panoramic windows, all, however, functional and welcoming. The elevator from 2021! The location is excellent for skiing and trekking, directly on the slopes and hiking trails. The cuisine is worthy of the best restaurants, the breakfast buffet is rich, from savory to sweet, often prepared by Mrs. Elsa. The menu is displayed in the morning and can be changed if you don't like it. An outdoor area is used for children's games, a ping pong table, and a solarium. In winter it is possible to use the sauna. The prices? Excellent value. In full Covid compliance with all hygiene/health regulations. The owner, Mrs. Elsa, is always available to solve any problem that may arise. For years I've been a regular guest here in July and, when possible, at other times of the year: every time it's a confirmation of "feeling at home away from home"! What else can I say? Thank you, and of course, see you soon.

L’albergo dallo scorso anno è rinnovato nell’estetica e nella funzionalità: alcune camere sono state ampliate e arredate in stile moderno, altre rimangono in stile montanaro, alcune con balcone, altre con finestre panoramiche, tutte, comunque, funzionali e accoglienti.
Dal 2021 l’ascensore!
La posizione ottima per lo sci e per il trekking, direttamente sulle piste e sui percorsi di trekking.
La cucina degna dei migliori ristoranti, la colazione a buffet ricca, dal salato al dolce spesso preparato dalla signora Elsa.
Al mattino viene affisso il menù che, se non gradito, può esser cambiato.
Uno spazio esterno è adibito a giochi per i bambini, tavolo ping pong, solarium.
In inverno possibile usufruire della sauna.
I prezzi? Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
In pieno covid il rispetto di tutte le norme igienico/sanitarie.
La proprietaria, signora Elsa, sempre disponibile a risolvere qualsiasi problema le sia esposto.
Da anni sono ospite fissa a luglio e, quando possibile, in altri periodi dell’anno: ogni volta la conferma di "sentirsi a casa lontano da casa"!
Cos’altro aggiungere? Grazie e, naturalmente, arrivederci a presto.

For over twenty years, I've been returning with my wife every summer. Always the same panoramic room, with an unparalleled view, from Sasssongher to Sella to Conturines. In the peaceful old town, high up, near the church and the castle. Mrs. Elsa has become almost a member of the family, and the friendships we've made over the years continue to reunite every summer. We've even brought her daughter, and then her granddaughter; we've found a warm welcome, good food, though not abundant (but at a certain age, you don't need it), superb breakfasts, and a generous vegetable buffet in the evening; above all, the serenity and friendliness of all the staff; and we share this experience with most of the guests, who, like us, have been returning for many years. It's true that, as some reviewers have said, the facility could use some maintenance and perhaps more common areas. But the atmosphere, like that of your own home, is priceless. We couldn't find anything like it anywhere else. And this year, with the coronavirus tragedy, who knows if we'll have to skip our shift. It would really hurt.

Ogni anno è come tornare fra amici, ci si sente a casa
Da oltre vent’anni torno con mia moglie tutte le estati. Sempre la stessa camera panoramica, con una vista senza pari, dal Sasssongher al Sella alle Conturines. Nella pace del paese vecchio, in alto, vicino alla chiesa e al castello. La signora Elsa è ormai quasi una persona di famiglia, e le amicizie fatte negli anni si ritrovano ogni estate. Ci abbiamo portato anche la figlia, e poi la nipotina; ci troviamo accoglienza, cibo buono anche se non abbondantissimo (ma a una certa età non se ne ha bisogno), colazioni super e gran buffet di verdure la sera; soprattutto, serenità e amicizia in tutto il personale; e condividiamo questa esperienza con la maggior parte della clientela, che come noi torna da molti anni. È vero che, come dice qualche recensore, la struttura avrebbe bisogno di un po’ di manutenzione e forse di maggiori spazi comuni. Ma l’atmosfera, come quella di casa propria, è impagabile. Non sapremmo trovare altrove niente di simile. E quest’anno, con la tragedia del coronavirus, chissà se dovremo saltare il turno. Sarebbe davvero un dolore.
