Dolomitenhof is the birthplace of tourism in the Sexten valley and a reminder of the pioneering achievements of Sepp Innerkofler, who became famous not only as an alpinist and the first to climb many of the local mountains, but also had the business acumen to open up the Dolomitenhof in 1904. It is a mature historic building whose high quality furnishings and carefully maintained structure reflects the architecture typical of the 1970’s and is now fashionably retro! Whenever possible the Innerkofler family adds small details and undertakes step by step adaptations to refresh the personality of the Dolomitenhof. Our philosophy is to remain faithful to its distinctive style.
The current atmosphere is cosy; the 30 rooms afford stunning views over the surrounding mountainscape and in their simplicity offer all the amenities for a successful mountain holiday. The chimney room, the bar and smoking room and the large panoramic terrace encourage you to relax. The most beautiful and most rustic part of the house is the Sepp Innerkofler Stube - in this room history comes to life over a glass of good wine and South Tyrolean specialities.

Your Charming Hotel In The Sexten Dolomites

This house is one of the historic treasures of Alpine hotel architecture. This listed building, built in 1907 in Domestic Revival style, has retained its authentic appearance and historic flair through the years. The original furniture with beautiful tiled stoves, pretty room furnishings, artistic wall panelling, stairs and floors give the hotel an unmistakeable air of detailed authenticity. Breakfast as if to the manor born in this traditionally furnished Stube room with its painted farmhouse cupboards and paintings. Dinner is served in the traditional Sepp Innerkofler room (if there is sufficient space) or in the cosy dining room in the Dolomitenhof.

The Badehaus Bergsteiger has successfully linked the traditional with the modern. The new wellness area was respectfully integrated into the landscape as a separate building between the Dolomitenhof and the Chalet Alte Post and is connected to both houses by means of an underground link. The guests from both houses can enjoy this stylish oasis of peace and recreation covering 470 square meters. Natural materials such as larch, granite and tufa create harmony and a pleasant atmosphere with warm colors and soft materials. Not so much an illustrious wellness temple as a bath house that humbly bows before nature and the beauty of the Fischleintal. Room high panoramic windows open up the views, bring the backdrop of the mountains indoors and engender a feeling of freedom.
