We stayed at the Helmhotel on half board! Fantastic place! Clean, beautiful, welcoming! Wonderful staff! Breakfast and dinner were super good, refined, authentic, and beautifully presented! Strategic location next to the San Candido-Lienz cycle path! Gorgeous pool and garden! Our kids had a great time!

Gorgeous hotel

Splendid hotel very close to San Candido. We stayed for a relaxing weekend. The rooms were well-appointed and very comfortable. The spa was lovely, with a heated Jacuzzi and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. The staff was attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent, and of the highest quality.

The best hotel in the Pusteria Valley

Our second year at this little paradise in the Pusteria Valley. Talking about the kindness of Martin and Simone, the helpfulness of the staff, always attentive to every detail, the five-star dinners courtesy of Chef Otto, the excellent wine cellar, the efficient service, the comfortable rooms, and the marvelous surrounding landscape of the Three Peaks, is an understatement compared to the greatest gift the Helmhotel offers: you get what money can't buy, because feeling at home when you're not is a great privilege. This hotel offered us all this simply by looking out from the terrace of our delightful suite overlooking Mount Elmo, the Three Peaks, and San Candido. With attention to every detail, the hotel is able to satisfy every need. We slept wonderfully thanks to the comfortable mattresses and super-soft pillows, which even eliminated our chronic back pain. Breakfasts and dinners were top-notch, using excellent ingredients. The service staff was extremely kind, attentive, and very professional. The wellness center was excellent, spotlessly clean, and elegant. The masseuse was always available to pamper you. A large green lawn where you can sunbathe while enjoying a breathtaking view, while our son plays in peace. Even though I'm picky, I couldn't find a single flaw in this hotel, so I highly recommend it. The San Candido–Lienz cycle path is right in front of the hotel, as is Monte Elmo, a pleasant ten-minute walk away. San Candido is 2 km away, Austria is 6 km away, and Cortina is 30 km away. The worst moment of our holiday? Departure and the teary eyes of so many guests who, like us, never wanted to return to normal life. Thank you so much.

A dream

We stayed a week in this magnificent hotel. Everything was magnificent, from the clean and well-appointed room to the breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly and always available. The waiters were kind. The spa was beautiful, and the view from it was magnificent. Excellent location.

Exceptional

The facility is well-equipped, welcoming, and very child-friendly; the staff are very hospitable, from the reception desk to the waiters and cleaners. The cuisine is exceptional, with a plentiful, top-quality buffet and traditional, carefully prepared dishes served at the table. We found no defects. We'll be back.

Top South Tyrolean hospitality

We stayed at the Helmhotel for a week. Strategically located 2 km from San Candido and 5 km from the Austrian border. You eat well, you sleep well and the managers are helpful and courteous in trying to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Recommended.

Wonderful weekend, very satisfied, divine food!

The hotel enjoys an excellent location; it's clean, very well-maintained, welcoming, and equipped with all the amenities of a superior hotel. The food was superb! The hotel met all our expectations and was excellent value for money. Suitable for families. If we were to return to San Candido, I would definitely choose it again. I've already recommended it to friends!

Great holiday

The hotel is in a good location, the staff is helpful and friendly, the bike storage is functional and the meals are excellent, including the very varied breakfast.
