Relaxing week in Dobbiaco

We had a wonderful stay at the Moritz, a wonderful holiday in Dobbiaco. The room was fantastic: huge, immaculately clean, and even had a balcony overlooking the mountains. The bathroom was functional and spotless, and like the room, everything was brand new. Breakfast and dinner were rich and plentiful, all prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The private parking is excellent for those arriving by car, and the Guest Card allows for convenient public transportation. A special thanks to the entire Guerreschi family and the hotel staff for their courtesy and helpfulness every day. We hope to return to Dobbiaco soon. Thank you.

Great stay, convenient location and excellent staff

We stayed at this hotel in the first week of August and had a great time. The room was very nice, spacious, well-maintained, and clean; the housekeeping service was also excellent and always attentive. The staff was very welcoming, kind and always available, making the stay even more pleasant. The location is also excellent, very convenient for easy access to bus stops and getting around the city. Parking is also very easy for those arriving by car. Overall, a really positive and relaxing stay!

Spacious, newly renovated room and bathroom

We received a very friendly welcome from the family, and the staff at breakfast were also very courteous. The spacious room with its fantastic balcony and mountain views, as well as the lovely bathroom, were a highlight of our cycling tour. The breakfast buffet was also plentiful and the products were fresh. Thank you so much, we will gladly recommend this hotel.

Friendliness and professionalism of the staff

The owner of the hotel is super kind and helpful. In the mountains, as is well known, the alarm goes off super early, and breakfast was always ready for us at 4:00 a.m. Obviously, not with "fresh from the fridge" products (because they serve an early breakfast at midnight), but it was packed with everything you could possibly want. Breakfast times: 7:30/9:30, more than fine for those who enjoy a relaxing holiday. For those who need to leave early, no problem, what I wrote above applies. Excellent sandwiches for lunch. Super dinner! The cuisine is something inexplicable, with excellent and super fresh products. The only downside to dinner is the somewhat inconvenient time: 7:00-8:00 PM. Only an hour to dine, and early at that. I would extend dinner time until 9:00 PM, to allow those taking afternoon excursions (far from the hotel) to arrive on time and take advantage of their paid half-board. It happened to us, we couldn't arrive on time due to an afternoon excursion an hour and a half from Dobbiaco and this affected us. If it had been until 9pm, we would have made it in time. If you are unable to make dinner, simply notify the owner and it will be deducted from the final amount of your stay. I'm not giving it an "exceptional" rating just because of this one dinner hour. For the rest, room with mountain view, very very nice. Impeccable daily room cleaning. Super kind and friendly staff, as well as attentive to customer needs. I would very, very happily go back!

Special thanks to Cristian, who showed us all the details of the shuttle service and bike rental and who helped us with the reservation at Lake Braies. The hotel was spotless and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay!

A great hotel

We chose Hotel Moritz as our accommodation for our Stoneman hike and it was simply fantastic. Friendly staff, a comfortable room with a view of the Sarlkofel mountain, packed breakfasts for our very early morning start, good half-board meals in the evenings, and pleasant conversations with the owners. The price-performance ratio is also excellent! Highly recommended. We would love to come back!
