We loved everything about it, especially the friendliness and professionalism of the owners and their entire staff, the very flexible breakfast and dinner times, the high quality of the excellent dishes and constantly replenished buffets, the constant availability of the wellness center, the meticulous cleanliness and the masterfully renovated hotel, the separate dining rooms instead of a single room, the absolutely relaxing atmosphere it provided... A cozy, family-run hotel with excellent cuisine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The family and staff were consistently exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The four-course set menu was excellent. We especially appreciated that the hotel provided high-quality e-mountain bikes free of charge. We really enjoyed that. The location is quiet, and the town center is easily accessible on foot. We were completely satisfied with our stay.

Hospitable

A decent hotel with plenty of space, located in the newer part of Dobbiaco. With a family of three, I stayed in the attic room for a short stay. It was spacious, comfortable, well-furnished, and reasonably bright; however, the bed was a little low on one side for tall people (it's easy to hit your head). I really appreciated the free use of the e-bikes for riding on the area's extensive bike paths. The hotel is located near the bike path to Lake Dobbiaco and Lake Landro. What I appreciated most was the natural—and I emphasize natural—friendliness, hospitality, helpfulness, and customer service I encountered from all members of the Kiebacher family, who own the property.

Where to go back

For the second year in a row, we chose this hotel, but this time we stayed a bit longer and confirmed our initial impression: an excellent choice! The hotel, in addition to its excellent location, boasts excellent cuisine with a wide selection of dishes for both breakfast and dinner. It's a family-run business, but everyone, including the service staff, is extremely kind and helpful, even offering information on itineraries for visiting the valley. The hotel also organizes free daily excursions with local guides (you'll cover transportation and lunch costs). For animal lovers, this is the ideal place to stay with your four-legged friend. We'd especially like to thank the owner's son, Jürgen, and his young wife for their hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

A delightful place

My daughter and I spent a wonderful week at this family-run hotel. The owners are very kind and helpful with information about local excursions. The cuisine, featuring South Tyrolean specialties, was excellent. At the end of the day, a sauna and a whirlpool bath were available.

Perfect New Year’s Eve!

We spent the last New Year's Eve here, the one of 2018, a very snowy one. The choice of this hotel was almost accidental, as it was one of the last available at the end of November in Dobbiaco Nuova, the resort we were interested in. But next time we'll definitely book it directly, if there's room, because we really enjoyed our stay. For the typical Alpine hotel atmosphere, the friendliness of the owners, the food, and the spa facilities. The excellent location wasn't a surprise because it had already been planned. But we hadn't considered the efficiency of South Tyrol's public transportation system, which adds even more to its value. The new Rienza ski lifts are very close and within walking distance, so you no longer have to travel at least 4 km to enjoy Alpine skiing, as suggested. The Nordic Arena for cross-country skiing, as is well known, is just a stone's throw away, as is the lake. We sincerely hope to return.

Stay at Hotel Laurin

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in early October. We had a wonderful time. The staff and owners were very friendly. The room was excellent, and the restaurant was excellent, with abundant dinner and breakfast. I would definitely recommend it.

A corner of paradise

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel for the 2017 Cortina-Dobbiaco run. The impeccable service and the friendly, welcoming owners make this place a "corner of paradise." The wellness center is beautiful, and the location is excellent for excursions in the surrounding area. I will definitely return.

Welcoming and comfortable hotel with excellent cuisine

We had a wonderful stay in this charming hotel, equipped with every comfort and in a truly strategic location for every activity. The family who runs it demonstrated great professionalism, warmth, and kindness, as did all the staff. Our room was spacious and clean despite being an attic, as it was the only room available when we booked. The garden behind the hotel is beautiful and well-kept, with some fun games for children. There are also some charming apartments managed by the hotel. High-quality bicycles are available for free rental. The wellness center is well-equipped and fully equipped. The cuisine is excellent: simple yet varied. We stayed at this hotel in June for the Cortina-Dobbiaco race, which starts and finishes just a few dozen meters from the hotel—very convenient! On the morning of the race, the hotel opened breakfast at 5:00 to ensure excellent service for all participants, who could then head to the start after a leisurely meal. We will definitely be back. We had a wonderful time and the value for money was excellent, considering the quality of the accommodation, which also welcomed our dog Goccia.
