Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, we were able to store our bikes, and the food was excellent and plentiful. What more could I say? If you're in the Dobbiaco area, book a room; you won't be disappointed!

Holiday in Dobbiaco

First experience in Dobbiaco, more than positive. I stayed from January 14 to January 19, which was the low season. I was more than satisfied, even though I can no longer enjoy winter sports or go to higher altitudes due to health reasons. I enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the area, especially since I'm always with my Alaskan Malamute. Excellent hotel. The only small point I'd like to make is that the service was perhaps a bit too fast; being on vacation, I like to be relaxed even during dinner. The evening buffet was superb. I'll be back!

Great stay

We stayed here for three nights with breakfast. The hotel is in an excellent location, just steps from the center. The owners are kind, courteous, and hospitable. Excellent breakfast. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean, with a balcony equipped with a lounger and a table. The bathroom was new and fully equipped. Excellent value for money. If you're looking for a relaxing stay in the Pusteria Valley, we recommend this hotel.

Positive review

Excellent hotel, with nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews across the board. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the elevator was helpful as I was traveling with a disabled relative.

Central location

What I liked about the Serles Hotel were: the very spacious room with a large balcony, the ability to store bikes in a safe place, and the kitchen. I appreciated the owners' kindness in responding to my personal requests.

Great stay

Recently renovated room, spacious, clean, with a large terrace and mountain views. Soundproof windows, so it's very quiet. The breakfast buffet is more than generous. Dinner is excellent, including well-prepared local dishes. The owners are friendly. Parking is available in front of the hotel, and the bus stop is 50 meters away. You couldn't ask for more.

Winter holidays in Dobbiaco

Our first winter vacation with our first baby, who is almost 5 months old, has just ended. This year, there's been little skiing, but plenty of delicious treats and delicacies. I'm dedicating my review to the Hotel Serles. It's centrally located, has ample parking, and is easily accessible with a stroller. Mary and Myriam (mother and daughter) are very attentive and friendly at the front desk. I initially tried breakfast and afternoon tea. There's a wide selection of homemade desserts, but my favorites are the plain croissant (it's been years since I've had one this good) and the chocolate mousse cake (I swear, it's so light, you could eat 10 of them in a row). I've since tried it for lunch and dinner, becoming an increasingly loyal customer. So, the dishes I enjoyed the most and recommend are: pasta with Pastova sauce (special because of the crispy speck), the barley soup (very flavorful and different from what you usually find in South Tyrolean restaurants), and the roast venison with polenta. Last but not least, the rich buffet is available to guests starting at 7:00 PM. In addition to a wide selection of vegetables, there are also other noteworthy appetizers: fresh mozzarella in carrozza, Russian salad, and more. This buffet has all the makings of an excellent feast, even accompanied by a spritz, which we Venetians call apericena.

Peaceful family vacation

Fantastic week

A charming, family-run hotel in Tyrolean style located on the main avenue, with ample parking in front and a beautifully maintained garden. The rooms are spotless, with private bathrooms, LED satellite TV, a safe, and a lovely balcony with a panoramic view of Mount Cristallo and the surrounding area. The breakfast and dinner were exquisite and plentiful, with special compliments to the chef. Upon returning from hiking the 3 Cime di Lavaredo, we enjoyed the hot tub, the infrared cabin with sensory care, and even the Finnish sauna, all included. Everyone was incredibly kind and always smiling. Thank you for a fantastic week!
