The family-run Hotel Trenker is located in the peaceful and picturesque valley of Braies, in the heart of the Dolomites, just 2 km from the lake Braies. The hotel offers free rental of mountain bikes, snowshoes and walking sticks, once a week a guided hiking tour and also free steam bath and sauna. Facing the mountains and surroundings, the rooms dispose of wooden furnishings, carpeted floors, flat-screen TV and private bathroom.
The day starts with an abundant breakfast buffet with homemade cakes, muesli and delicious marmelade, savoury items such as cheese, eggs and cold cuts, different juices and teas. The dinner, salad buffet, 4-course menu and buffet of local cheeses consists of typically South Tyrolean specialities coupled with selected Italian delicacies. You can relax in the Finnish sauna and the steam bath, the hot tub or the solarium. Guests can unwind in the garden equipped with a playground, parasols and tables. Ski enthusiasts will reach the Kronplatz ski area in 20 minutes by car or take the ski bus leaving from the hotel to get the Helm slopes. Free uncovered parking and garage parking at extra charge is available.
