Hotel Grauson 

Owned and run by the Guichardaz-Foretier family since it opened its doors in the early 1960s, the hotel offers a cozy and pleasant atmosphere in the heart of the Gimillan village. The Hotel Grauson, renovated and expanded in the mid-1990s, is immersed in tranquility, located at an altitude of 1800-meters on a south-facing natural terrace with stunning views of the town of Cogne and the Sant’Orso field, the Valnontey and the Gran Paradiso glaciers, Mount Grivola, the forests and the Mayans of the valley.
It is a starting point for excursions to the numerous lakes of the large valley of Grauson, for climbing to Emilius and Tersiva, to reach the Colonna and Licone mines, crossing Ozein, Gressan (Pila), Charvensod, Aosta, Pollein, Brissogne, Saint Marcel, Fenis and trekking routes to the Mont Avic Regional Park and the Gran Paradiso National Park.
For Mountain Bike (MTB) enthusiasts, we would like to point out that the Hotel is located on one of the most interesting routes in our territory. In the winter time Cogne offers 70 km. Of Nordic ski trails, a small ski area for alpine skiing, and the possibility of walking, snowshoeing and horseback riding.
