The Hotel is situated in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, just 2 km from the village of Cogne. The building and its location are in perfect harmony with the quaint rustic village of Valnontey (1665m) with its beautiful mountain scenery and wildlife.
This charming hotel has been developed from a cluster of authentic old mountain buildings, in keeping with the local tradition of stone and wood, typical style of the Aosta Valley. The hotel’s unique position is a superb base for walking and hiking in summer and cross-country skiing and icefall climbing in winter.
The small village is part of the prestigious Alpine Pearls and offers a holiday with soft mobility and sustainable tourism in direct contact with nature.
Also younger guests are welcome. At disposal, free high chair at the restaurant as well as stroller and baby backpack for hiking, bob and sleighs in winter and an equipped playground and mountain bikes with child seat in summer.
All rooms are equipped with television with DVD (with free cartoons rental). The Chef will be pleased to prepare the meals for the smallest ones (soup, vegetable veloutée, pasta, little steak).
In the search of true relaxation, the hotel offers a small spa with hot tub and sauna. Without forgetting the underground garage and the cross-country-ski and mountain bike rental. For respect of the environment and the sustainability, heating and hot water are entirely produced by an ecological wood boiler.
