The hotel is decorated in the traditional local style. It overlooks the Ussel castle rock and the ruins of the Château des Rives (the ancient Saint-Clair, a Templar fort).
It is surrounded by the peaceful scenery of the hills above the villages of Châtillon and Saint-Vincent.
The hotel is encircled by a lovely orchard from which it derives its name, "Le Verger", "orchard" in French, composed of vine, apple, pear, cherry and chestnut trees.
The hotel is situated at approximately 200 m from the tranquil medieval burgh of Châtillon, at 1 km from the renowned spa and fashionable centre of Saint-Vincent, and at 7 km from the nearest lifts, as well as from the cross-country skiing resort of Valtournenche.
The hotel is family owned and managed, offering a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The rooms are decorated according to the traditional local style and with pieces of antique furniture. They are all en-suite and equipped with phone, colour TV and hair dryer.
The hotel equally offers a number of large, family-friendly rooms (measuring about 35 sqm).
In our structure you will have at your disposal a small private bar, the breakfast room, the library, the leisure room, the garage and a private parking. Outside an ample veranda overlooks the orchard encircling the hotel.
