Warm and welcoming – pure hospitality!

We stayed at this wonderful farm twice while traveling through to Italy (June 2019) and can highly recommend it. You feel completely at ease; like visiting old friends. The Ungerer family is wonderfully uncomplicated, very hospitable, and very open. The food was incredibly delicious, and the rooms are pleasant and clean. There's also plenty to keep children entertained. Our girls were sad that we were only there for one night. We'll definitely go there again when we get the chance! :-)

Not just any holiday

As soon as we arrived, amidst a fleeting Alpine storm, we were greeted by a woman busy picking vegetables from the garden: that would be our dinner salad. 1,500 characters aren't enough to express this experience of living with the Ungerer family. We, 16 of us from Sicily, flocked to the farm, and we immediately felt at home: the dinners prepared by our grandmother, with a cuisine completely new to us, which amazed us every night; the kindness of Marta, who fulfilled our every wish and gave us the perfect tips for our daily excursions. We thought we'd suffer from dinner at 7:00 PM sharp (we're used to our late dinners), but it was wonderful to still have dinner in the light and then be able to enjoy the sunset on the terrace, while the children played endless ping pong tournaments. The silence! The deafening silence kept us company at night, the only sound coming from the fountain that provided fresh spring water day and night. Who knows! Maybe the fountain wasn't the only noise; may the mountains and the Ungerer grandparents apologize if our kids made a little extra noise! Definitely a recommended farm.
