The village atmosphere here is very authentic; no businesslike, professional airs, everyone is genuinely eager to make you feel comfortable, all within a very good price-performance ratio. The ambiance, including the wellness area, isn't outstanding!

Good hotel

We stayed at the hotel for four days. The location is good for getting around by train, as it's close to the station, a two-minute walk away. The hotel is well-maintained, but the room is very simple. The TV is perhaps a bit small, as is the bathroom, which has no window and no bidet. Dinner is excellent, and breakfast is good. In the basement, there's a ping pong table and foosball table. There's also a small spa with a hot tub that can fit about 6-7 adults, as well as a sauna and Turkish bath. We had a good time and would definitely stay here again.

Tranquility and availability of the hotel

Beautiful place and trains and buses every half hour to go throughout the Pusteria and Aurina valleys

Christmas with the family

We spent the Christmas holidays at the hotel with 3 families, including 3 small children. The hotel is very comfortable, and the staff was exceptional in accommodating all our requests, even special ones. The food was excellent, including gluten-free options for one of the children. We felt right at home. The hotel is very convenient to everything: the village of Valdaora, the ski bus stop for the slopes, and the train station for reaching all the markets in South Tyrol. Highly recommended also for the excellent quality/price ratio, we will definitely be back.

Stunning and exceptional welcome

I've been spending summer holidays here for many years. It's a family-run hotel with home-cooked food. The Pörnbacher family is always available to answer any questions! The location is quiet, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and it's just steps from the train station, the SAD buses, and the pool. The hotel provides a free pass for free public transportation! My advice: go here, you'll want to come back!

Excellent value for money

Stayed with family for a few days of skiing. Comfortable, clean, good food, and a decent sauna. Basic, clean rooms. I recommend it.

Relaxing weekend

We spent the Immaculate Conception weekend here, and the welcome we received as soon as we arrived was excellent. Spacious and clean rooms, a good dinner menu, and, most importantly, its proximity to the train station are the hotel's strong points. We were free to explore all the markets in the Puster Valley using the hotel's tickets, and in the evening we relaxed in the wellness area. What can I say...we'll definitely be back.

Perfect!

We had a wonderful four-day stay! We stayed in two connecting rooms with our two teenage children. The location is very quiet, convenient for both the ski bus and the train to the ski lifts. The atmosphere is clean, and the wellness center is lovely! The food was good, and the staff were all friendly. We'll definitely consider this place again for the summer. Highly recommended.

Beautiful!

We spent 4 unforgettable days... spotlessly clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, excellent menu with a wide variety of choices, and generous breakfasts. The hotel has a lovely wellness center, heated ski storage, and warm rooms. It's also conveniently located across from the train station, so you can take the bus to Kronplatz (Plan de Corones) or the local train! I recommend it to everyone!

Exceptional welcome

We had a truly unforgettable stay, thanks to the thoughtfulness and helpfulness of the entire hotel staff, who were always ready to accommodate our every request. Breakfast and dinner were generous, varied, and delicious. The staff also welcomed our four-legged friends wonderfully, and they were thoroughly pampered and loved. The hotel's location is unique, both for hiking and getting around by car, and for taking advantage of the free public transportation; the train station is practically in front of the hotel, making it incredibly convenient. An experience we'll definitely repeat soon.

Welcoming and clean

A simple but very welcoming structure, just steps from the SAD station (convenient to reach by train, local transport services are frequent and widespread - the hotel also provides a free travel pass). On the ground floor are the spacious and comfortable Tyrolean-style restaurant, the café bar, and a charming stube. The rooms are comfortable, all with showers, TVs, and direct dial telephones. The cuisine is excellent, featuring a wealth of local specialties. We immediately felt at home, thanks to the kindness of the owner, who pampered us with warmth. For relaxation, there's the wellness area, complete with sauna, Turkish bath, and whirlpool, ideal after a day outdoors. We will gladly return to enjoy the valley's truly splendid nature.
