My husband and I have been returning to Olaga, home to the Töchterle family, for four years now, and this regular summer appointment is a truly regenerating treat for us. Günther and Christiane are always delightful and have that innate ability to make you feel at home. Their warmth, kindness, and willingness to meet your every need, providing advice and information on anything you may need, their constant smile and open-hearted conversation, make you feel at ease and at home. Over the years, we have welcomed our newly adopted dog and, now, our one-year-old son. This was our first vacation with him, and it was fraught with organizational difficulties and unexpected events, but even here they showed us the utmost willingness to provide us with practical help, first by preparing soup for the little one themselves when the kitchen was closed, and then by providing us with the contact information of a doctor and taking a sincere interest in his health. These are just a few of the reasons we keep coming back here. The building itself is truly delightful, with meticulous attention to detail. The flower-filled wooden balconies with their armchairs overlooking the main square give us a true sense of tranquility. And after dinner (always delicious, no matter the course), lingering at sunset in the outdoor area, outside the stube, is one of the most relaxing moments after a day of hiking. We're in love with the Dolomites, and there are a thousand other corners of paradise to discover, but returning to the Pusteria Valley, and specifically here, to Günther and Christiane, is a call we can no longer resist.

Come sentirsi a casa
Io e mio marito torniamo ormai da quattro anni all’Olaga, dalla famiglia Töchterle, e questo nostro appuntamento fisso estivo è per noi un vero toccasana rigenerante.
I signori Günther e Christiane si riconfermano sempre deliziosi e hanno quella innata dote naturale di farti sentire a casa. La loro cordialità, gentilezza e disponibilità nel venire incontro a ogni esigenza, il fornire consigli e informazioni su qualunque cosa di cui si abbia bisogno, il loro accoglierti costantemente con il sorriso e il sincero dialogo fanno sì che tu possa sentirti sempre a tuo agio e in famiglia.
Negli anni, hanno visto aggiungersi a noi la nostra cagnolina appena adottata e, adesso, nostro figlio di un anno.
Questa è stata la nostra prima vacanza con lui ed è stata legata a difficoltà organizzative e imprevisti, ma anche qui loro ci hanno mostrato la massima disponibilità nel fornirci un aiuto concreto, prima preparandoci anche loro stessi la minestrina per il piccolo, quando la cucina era chiusa, e dopo fornendoci il recapito di un medico e interessandosi sinceramente al suo stato salute.
Questi sono solo alcuni dei motivi per cui continuiamo a tornare qui.
La struttura, poi, è davvero deliziosa e curata in ogni dettaglio, e i balconi fioriti in legno con le poltroncine, che si affacciano sulla piazza principale, ci donano un vero senso di tranquillità. E dopo cena (sempre squisita in ogni portata), trattenersi al tramonto nella zona allestita all’aperto, fuori alla stube, è uno dei momenti più rilassanti dopo una giornata in giro per escursioni.
Siamo innamorati delle Dolomiti e ci sarebbero altri mille angoli di paradiso da scoprire, ma tornare in Val Pusteria e precisamente qui, da Günther e Christiane, è un richiamo al quale non riusciamo ormai a resistere.

We stayed at Hotel Olaga the week of August 7th to 14th. Our experience was very positive: the room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, Covid regulations were respected, the breakfast was excellent, the dinner was excellent, and the hospitality of the management and staff was truly impeccable and not at all intrusive. An experience we'll repeat.

Abbiamo soggiornato all’hotel Olaga la settimana dal 7 al 14 agosto, la nostra esperienza è stata molto positiva, camera confortevole, pulizia eccellente, norme Covid rispettate, ottima colazione, cena ottima e una cordialità da parte dei gestori e del personale veramente perfetta e per nulla invadente. Un’esperienza da ripetere.
