Winter: on the Italian side of the skiing area Nassfeld / Passo Pramollo, just 300 m from the Austrian-Italian border. Nassfeld is the largest ski area in Carinthia: 110 km of slopes with 30 modern ski lifts!
Enclosed by the Carnic and Julian Alps, the hotel is situated near the mountain Cavallo with a beautiful view on it.
Italy-Austria-Slovenia: in a few hours you will have the opportunity to experience three countries and three different cultures.
The restaurant inside of the hotel is considered among the most important of the mountain region, a meeting place for all people who are enthusiastic about Italian cuisine. Pizzeria with a wood oven. The wine cellar offers a selection of the best wineries in Friuli to national and even international wines.
Wellness area with a sauna, steam baths, a warming bank, a whirlpool and relaxation beds is not included in the price: the service is available with additional charge and during the opening time, reservation is required.
During the summer season, the wellness center remains closed.

Excellent communication, comfortable and clean rooms, good Wi-Fi connection

Communication with the hotel before arrival – including the room booking and all the information provided – was among the best I’ve ever experienced. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a good Wi-Fi connection. The natural surroundings are absolutely incredible. I truly hope to return to this hotel and this area in the future.

Excellent place, lovely people, perfect food

We stay here almost every year for the overnight stay during our journey down to the south. The owners are really friendly. Although we do not spend much time there, they always welcome us back as if we were family and make us feel like home. We love the atmosphere, the food, the drinks. Everything is just perfect. We will be back!!!

Little Italy on the Austrian border

The hotel has an excellent location and offers everything for a good skiing holiday. You have to walk just 300 meters to the first lift in Nassfeld, and then you can return on skis directly to the hotel—good food, bar, and spa centre.

Good price. Nice and pleasant staff. The room was not the newest, but clean. We stayed in this hotel 2 times already, and we loved it. We had half board, were very satisfied with the food – delicious. The staff is super nice and welcoming. We communicated via mail with Mrs Martina, she was very responsive. Amazing place, close to ski slopes. Definitely we'll be back.

Fabulous location and excellent food!

We stayed here in the first week of February 2020. The location is fabulous, at almost 1600 m, the snow was all around us. It very closed (<300 m) to the ski lift. The rooms were very clean. They took into account that we have 2 teenagers and they gave us the family room with 2 rooms. What we liked the most was the food, truly Italian food. The staff was very kind and willing to help. I truly recommend it for a ski family holiday.

Great stay at Nassfeld

This is the best kept secret in Nassfeld area. It's 300 m from the slopes. Very, very comfortable rooms, homy atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner were a big suprise, in a good way. Breakfast was in buffet style with a wide choice of meats, cheeses, cereal, breads, sweets... If we had tried it all we would have gained at least 5 pounds! Dinner in buffet style appetizers that were absolutely amazing. After sampling many of them, they came with a three-course dinner in addition and after that buffet style dessert (at least 5 varietes). Absolutely amazing place, so close to ski slopes, with great staff. Thank you for the great beginning of our European ski vacation!

Enjoying skiing and gastronomy

Nice skiing holiday with excellent gastronomy experience and also flexible staff. We spent a skiing holiday with 3 kids and different skill levels. The location of the hotel is just a short walking distance to the ski pistes for learners. This was great as our smallest daughter just started to learn skiing. Food was excellent, the variety of the starters is amazing! Even though I asked for gluten free courses there was no problem. Our family room was clean and large eneogh for the five of us.
