The jewel in the crown: the service

Excellent modern hotel. But the hotel's real plus is its staff. The young lady who greeted us at reception was smiling and kind, even though we were arriving at the end of her late evening shift. She was also very understanding of our needs and willing to find a personalized solution. Her other colleagues at the reception were also always smiling, open, and attentive. The breakfast waitresses were very professional, attentive, and always smiling. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, offering both savory and sweet options. The cakes, with a varied selection, were excellent. Food for those with intolerances is also available. All the staff also speaks fluent Italian (which isn't always a given in Merano!). We stayed two nights, which then became three.
