The farm is located in Monte Santa Caterina, in Val Senales, at an altitude of 1,500 meters. It is nestled amid meadows and woods and is far off from the crowded roads full of traffic. Enjoy the marvelous nature and breathe in healthy fresh air.
Enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains of Val Senales, high up over the village Monte Santa Caterina. Several hiking path start in front of our farm.
Take a chance and get to know life on a South Tyrolean farm. The day starts early in the morning with the work in the stable and ends in the evening with the same work in the stable (feed the cows, milk them, clean the dung and take care of the other animals). You are also welcome to watch the farmer doing his job.
The Untervernatschhof has been owned by the Mair family since 10 years. You will find a typical farm in traditional style and in good condition. It is a unique experience in every season. In spring the meadows are full of yellow dandelions, the sun rays warm up the fresh mountain breeze. In summer you smell the scent of the colorful alpine pastures. In autumn the woods are in a splendid variety of colors and in winter there is a wonderful white magic.
Ideal start for mountain bike trails and motorbike tours.
