Near the Hotel Aurora you will find the famous Serrai di Sottoguda. A nice walk will allow you to admire the impressive spectacle of the deep gorge and the numerous and sparkling waterfalls of the stream, that over the centuries have dug a narrow canyon in the rock, illuminated also at night.

Wonderful stay

It was my fourth stay at the Hotel Aurora. We do prefer this small family hotel for its very good location in between Alleghe (for skiing in Civetta ski area) and Malga Ciapela (entry for Marmolada). The room comfort is just fine for your sport vacation and everybody will remember it for its just perfect meals. The Hotel is clearly a family business and if you want to taste home-made food, there is no better place in the zome! We also enjoyed the evenings at the bar with a glass of good wine. We are always overall satisfied and that's the reason we will come back!
