The Hotel Corona Ferrea is located in Sappada, a lovely town immersed in the wonderful landscape of the Eastern Dolomites. Thanks to its ideal location in summer guests can quickly reach the playground, the minigolf course, the stables, the football pitch and many mountainbike trails and hiking paths.
In winter the Hotel offers direct access to the cross country trail, while in just 100 m. you can take the chair lifts Sappada 2000 and Pian dei Nidi up to the ski slopes. The Nevelandia amusement park on the snow, as well as some ski areas for children, are also nearby.
The Piller family, who has been running the hotel for 4 generations, offers you an amazing holiday in a cozy and familiar atmosphere, where you experience a high level of hospitality in the typical style of Sappada.
Among the tasty specialties of the kitchen you will have the chance to try the best traditional recipes of the Veneto and Friuli regions.

Beautiful stay in a fairytale village

We stayed 12 days in this beautiful hotel. The strategic, quiet, and panoramic location, along with the friendly welcome and excellent cuisine (excellent breakfast and a rich and varied dinner), made our holiday truly special, so much so that we're planning another stay next year.

Great stay

We stayed at the Hotel Corona Ferrea for 6 days. The atmosphere was welcoming and very clean. We opted for half board. Breakfast and dinner had a varied menu. The dishes were simple but well-cooked. Covid regulations were respected. The staff was helpful and courteous. Recommended.

Hotel in a quiet and convenient location with parking space

The hotel room was in a great location with a balcony and mountain views. Excellent breakfast with a variety of pastries. The quality of the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.

New Year’s Eve holiday

My family and I stayed at this hotel for the New Year's Eve holidays. It's in a great location, right next to two ski slopes. The owners are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, as are everyone else who works there. The hotel is a typical Tyrolean-style mountain hotel; the beds are very comfortable, and the food is good and plentiful. We had a wonderful time, and I hope to return soon.

We had a good time

We particularly liked the common areas, such as the garden, the TV room, the bar, and so on. We were able to rest peacefully, and the noise of traffic was greatly muffled by the hedge. The location made it easy to walk down to the river, visit old Sappada, and have the necessary shops nearby: a supermarket, a newsagent, and a craft store. The rooms are functional and have a lovely little terrace offering the constant sound of birdsong, which evidently nest under the roof and come very close. I witnessed a sort of flight school, with little birds emerging from the roof beams, taking short flights, and then returning.

Weekend in Sappada

We only stayed for a weekend. The hotel is family-run, the food is authentic, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and especially accommodating to those with food intolerances.
