Before leaving Sappada, we stopped at the Sorgenti del Piave Hotel, asking if they could provide a room with a crib for a few nights around New Year's Eve. We were greeted by the very kind Mr. Giuseppe, who went out of his way to ensure we could continue our visit to Sappada and quickly turned our arrival into a pleasant and comfortable stay. A delicious breakfast and a clean room make us highly recommend this hotel to anyone who hasn't visited it yet. The best part, in our opinion, is its location... just outside the chaos of the center, it's ideal, and in the evening, if you wander through the surrounding streets, you'll feel like you've stepped into a poetic postcard, amidst nativity scenes, lights, and Christmas carols. What a sight!

Prima di andarcene da Sappada ci siamo fermati all’hotel Sorgenti del Piave chiedendo disponibilità di una camera con culla per alcune notti a cavallo dell’ultimo dell’anno... Giuseppe, il quale ha fatto di tutto per poterci permettere di proseguire la nostra visita a Sappada e con estrema celerità ha trasformato il nostro arrivo in un piacevole e confortevole soggiorno. Buona colazione e camera pulita ci spingono a suggerire questo hotel a chi ancora non lo conosce. Il punto forte, secondo il nostro parere, è la posizione... appena fuori dal caos del centro, è l’ideale, e di sera, se vi doveste addentrare nelle viette circostanti, vi sembrerà di entrare in una cartolina poetica, tra presepi, luci e melodie di Natale. Che spettacolo!
