The Hotel Auren is situated on the edge of small wood on the river Ahr, just a few minutes from the centre of St. Johann.
In summer, the hotel is the perfect starting point for hikes, bike rides and walks on the best paths and mountain trails in the Durreck Range and Zillertal Alps.
In Winter, the hotel is ideal for athletic and/or romantic days in the Ahrntal. Two top modern ski areas, Speikboden and Klausberg, are just a few kilometres away and guarantee skiers, snowboarders, carvers and ski mountaineers a ton of fun with a fascinating natural backdrop.
Winter hikers are also greeted with a great selection of varied winter hiking trails. Also cross-country fans, whether beginner or advanced, will find trails in the Ahrntal and won’t be disappointed. One of the many cross-country runs passes directly behind the hotel.
After an exciting day in the fascinating Riesenferner-Ahrn Nature Preserve, you can spend time unwinding in the Wellness and Sauna area.
