In 1980, the parents of the owners took over the Knappenhof. The name of the farm alludes to the Prettau mine which is just a few meters from here. In these calm, natural surroundings which might be a bit rough at times, you will spend a most pleasant holiday. That is how you live in a secluded alpine valley, embedded between the Zillertal Alps and the Upper Tauern, with its pure, crisp air, crystal-clear waters and lush alpine pastures. All devotees of unspoilt nature will just feel at home here!
The typical stube was furnished with local wood - authentic as the good food and the mountain views you will enjoy here. After an exciting day in the mountains the bar of the house invites you to sit together, laugh and talk. The hotel offers sauna and solarium to relax.
