Hotel Malga Passerella is at only 30mt from the important skiing resort Alpe Lusia, from where you have the possibility to ski until the front door of the hotel. During the summer, the huge area of the Dolomites and the breathtaking landscape give you the possibility to undertake wonderful walks and excursions. The Hotel is at the edge of the forest, in a very peaceful area. Moena can be easily reached by foot as it is only 3 km from the centre of the village. Hotel Malga Passerella is an excellent meeting point for those who love the mountains and the nature and offers beautiful views on the landscape from its rooms provided with every comfort and balconies. The wellness centre at guest’s disposal is equipped with steam bath, whirlpool, sauna, and two relaxation areas and is the right place after a day on the slopes or in the mountains, to regenerate and relax. The hotel is the ideal place to spend a pleasant holiday in the mountains, enjoying relax and comfort: from here you can access the cable cars which will lead you to discover the Dolomites, in both summer and winter.

Location

Relaxing holiday

It was a pleasant stay. The owners are friendly and very flexible, ready to do everything possible to accommodate every need. The hotel is spotless and well-maintained. I recommend half-board because the food is excellent. The breakfast was very good and varied. Excellent location. My thanks to Mrs. Gina, and my compliments to her staff and her nephew!

Impeccable rooms and genuine food

It was an unforgettable stay! Mrs. Gina, who welcomes you with a smile, is always kind and helpful. The rooms are always impeccable, while the food is authentic and exceeds all expectations. The location is simply breathtaking! Extremely convenient for easy hikes and very close to the ski lifts.

Great food

It's located along the road from Moena to the San Pellegrino Pass. We stopped by chance and found a warm welcome and excellent local food. The polenta with venison ragù and eggs with speck and potatoes were truly delicious. Highly recommended!

A nice last minute vacation

My son and I booked a last-minute six-day vacation at this hotel just outside Moena, next to the Alpe Lusia ski lifts. Excellent starting point for excursions, we really enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere was very clean, quiet, and homely, and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Beautiful holiday

Comfortable and very clean hotel. Mrs. Gina (the owner) is very pleasant and attentive. The breakfast was generous, Edo's cooking was excellent, and Luisa's dining room service was also excellent. Besides being always very helpful and friendly, she makes fabulous strudel and Catalan pasta. The bar service was also excellent, where Riccardo excelled. We will definitely be back.

We felt well taken care of.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, it was not permitted to visit Hotel Malga Passerella in January 2021. Finally, it was possible again (2022). There were eight of us, and we had a great time (one week of skiing).

A quiet family trekking holiday

The quality-price ratio is exceptional and the family management highlights its strengths more than its weaknesses. The location is outside the city, making it unsuitable for those who want to take an evening stroll without a car. However, it's not a problem for those like us who were out hiking all day and needed a rest in the evening. The Alpe Lusia cable car departs just 20 meters from the hotel, which I imagine is an added bonus, especially in the winter. Clean and spacious room, practically a two-room apartment, with a large terrace. The cuisine is of the highest standard for a three-star hotel and always offers options for all needs. It's a shame that the wellness area was closed, but we knew about it as it was clearly marked on the website. Thanks to Mrs. Gina and all the staff for making us feel at ease throughout the week. I recommend Malga Passerella to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and excellent cuisine.

A fantastic holiday in the best hotel

As a couple, we booked a 14-day half-board stay at Malga Passerella. The breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection, specialty coffees made to order, and the service was friendly and attentive! Dinner was fantastic. Many local specialties, modern cuisine, and everything was incredibly delicious. There was a starter/salad buffet, an appetizer, a main course, and dessert! Excellent! The rooms are large, very comfortably furnished, and we had a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains! The spa area is new, very clean, and features a Turkish steam bath with a variety of aromas to choose from, a Finnish sauna, and a large, wonderful whirlpool. A tastefully designed relaxation area, complimentary towels, and a variety of showers complete the spa experience! Fantastic! A great team, led by the wonderful hotel manager, looks after the guests and creates a feel-good atmosphere with their courteous and friendly manner. In conclusion, we can only say: we booked a room and received a home! Thank you so much!

Just a few days, but... good ones!

We stayed here for just a few days, but it was enough to make us love these places and these people even more (if that's possible). The hospitality was wonderful, the food superb, and the property's management exceptional. We'll be back!

Peaceful period

Excellent place with a family atmosphere. I received lots of information about places to visit that were compatible with our mobility limitations. The time of year we chose was excellent; September is perfect for relaxing. A wide selection is available for breakfast and the vegetable buffet for dinner.
