Excellent structure, welcoming and helpful staff

The property is excellent. The style is classic, but recently renovated. The location is very central, and the staff are welcoming and available to answer any questions. The meals are really excellent.

Friendliness of the staff

First of all, the friendliness of all the staff. The buffet service was excellent for both breakfast and lunch. The rooms were comfortable. You couldn't ask for more; I had a great time.

Hospitality, kindness and professionalism

We spent a wonderful summer week at the Park Hotel Mater Dei in Pozza di Fassa and were truly very satisfied. The hotel is welcoming, clean, and ideally located for easy access to the main hikes in the Fassa Valley, both by public transport and on foot. The room was comfortable and always impeccable. A special thanks goes to all the staff, who were friendly, helpful, and attentive to our every need, making us feel at home from day one. The food was one of the highlights of our stay: a rich and varied breakfast, and excellent dinners with well-prepared dishes and local produce. It was a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, made even more special by the professionalism and kindness of all the staff. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a holiday in Val di Fassa, both in summer and winter. We hope to return soon.

A relaxing holiday at Mater Dei

This year I went back with my husband for the third time. A family-run hotel with attentive and welcoming staff, whom I sincerely thank for making our holiday special. Excellent location, with convenient parking. What about the food? A wide selection of tasty and inviting dishes, with a generous buffet for breakfast and dinner. Thanks to everyone and we hope to be back next year!

A pleasant stay

A stay made pleasant by a very comfortable structure and an exceptional room, also for the splendid mountain view enjoyed from a comfortable furnished balcony. The wellness area is also well-equipped and very comfortable. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The strategic location is excellent, close to the town center yet far enough from the busy main road to walk everywhere, including the cable cars that can take you to some of the most beautiful spots in the Dolomites, or the shuttle stop for the waterfalls in Val San Nicolò. And finally, you can also come back to enjoy the excellent house spritz!

Relax

Always a wonderful confirmation

What can I say? This is the fourth time we've chosen Mater Dei, and each time we're more and more enthusiastic. Mario and Sergio are the most attentive and friendly owners in the entire Val di Fassa and Trentino. Chef Leonardo delights us with his culinary creations, and the front of house staff, Valerio and Anna Maria, are always attentive, kind, and patient. Renato is incredibly friendly and helpful, and always accompanied us on the shuttle to the slopes with a smile. What else?!

Family atmosphere

We had a great time. The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, almost family-like: it's easy to feel at ease with all the staff. The cuisine is excellent: the breakfast buffet and the evening appetizer buffet deserve special mention, both truly lavish. The desserts are meticulously prepared, both at breakfast and dinner, and in the afternoon, a snack consisting of a slice of cake and a drink (hot chocolate, tea, orange juice, and water) is offered in the lobby—a welcome treat for both those just arriving and checking in, and those returning from skiing or daily excursions who can quickly find something to eat or even just quench their thirst. The wellness center is also very good and, for a three-star hotel, I found it spacious and comfortable. Our rooms were a bit small, but we booked at the last minute, and I think the rooms upstairs were larger, and we would have liked a balcony. However, they were well-kept and clean, with a spacious closet, wall hooks, and a luggage rack, and when rooms are small, these essential touches are often lacking. The bed was comfortable; I recommend putting an extra pillow in the closet, but these are just small details.
