Falcade, a charming tourist resort, is located in the heart of the Agordinate Dolomites, immersed in a valley rich in woods and surrounded by a fantastic frame of famous mountains (Marmolada, Civetta, Pelmo, Focobon, Cime d’Auta). At the foot of the San Pellegrino and Valles Passes, it is an important ski resort inserted in the Dolomiti Superski carousel and connected to the Tre Valli area (Falcade-S.Pellegrino-Moena) by modern ski lifts. Falcade, because of the size of its basin, is also a paradise for cross-country skiing.
Falcade presented exceptional novelties for the winter season, which made it one of the most important ski resorts in the Dolomites. A new ski lift was inaugurated, right in front of the Hotel Molino. The new and modern 8-seater Falcade-Le Buse cable car which, starting from Molino (1199 m.l.s.m.), allows skiers to climb up to 1884 m.l.s.m. sheltered from wind and cold and with the possibility of admiring the spectacular 360° landscape on the Dolomite peaks of Focobon and Mulaz (Pale di San Martino group), Civetta, Pelmo, Cime d’Auta and Marmolada. Furthermore, the system is also designed for night-time operation.
Freestyle and snowboard lovers will find in Le Buse a completely renovated Falca Park, easily reachable from Molino with the new Falcade-Le Buse cable car.
