The hotel owes its name to the Olympic gold medal won by the owner Franco Nones in the thirty kilometre cross-country skiing event at the 1968 Grenoble Olympics.
Located in a particularly sunny position, it offers an enchanting view of the Lagorai mountain chain and the Pale di San Martino. Just two kilometres from Cavalese, the main town of the valley, it is the ideal starting point for the various activities that can be undertaken here both in summer, with the countless excursions and open-air activities that can be undertaken, and in winter, for skiing on the over 100 kilometres of downhill slopes and 150 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails.
It has well-kept rooms with furnishings in natural materials and modern lines, the right combination of tradition and modernity.
The hotel is also equipped with a wellness centre with sauna, Turkish bath, Kneipp path, Scottish shower and large whirlpool bath, where you can enjoy some relaxation after a day full of skiing and hiking.
A special room called "Villa Villekulla", Pippi Longstocking’s house, have been reserved for the young ones to play; there is also a playground in front of the hotel.
