Hotel Val 

The Hotel Val is situated on a little sunny hill, with Selva in front and the Nature Park "Vallunga" behind the house. It is a quiet zone, with a big garden and a beautiful view. With a comfortable walk of 10 minutes trough the grassland you can reach the centre of the town with shops and more.
Summer
The wonderful position of the house near the "Puez-Geisler Nature Park" is ideal for comfortable walks in the "Vallunga" but also an ideal starting point for walking tours, excursions, climbs and Nordic walking. Climbers do not get short, in the surroundings of the house you can find two crags: one is ideal for beginners and one for expert climbers.
A special program with walks, visits, fitness and courses in cooperation with the Val Gardena Active Team, mostly for free.
In the back you will find a garden with deckchairs and a children’s playground. In front a sunny terrace to enjoy home made cakes, sundaes and snacks.
Winter
The Hotel VAL is the ideal place for downhill or cross-country skiers or for lovers of winter walks. Direct connection on ski slopes to the famous SELLARONDA, trough the chairlift "Val" at 50 m For beginner’s and children there are ski lifts at a walking distance of max. 200 m.
The "Vallunga" is the ideal place to practice cross-country skiing. With the ski school and ski rental at the place. From the Hotel you can start for walks with your ski boots in the nature of the National Park. A special program with walks and excursions, snow shoeing and climbing courses, for free in cooperation with the Val Gardena Active Team team.
Relax
Sauna and relaxing area with original "stube" (living room) of a 400 years old farm in Selva. Finnish sauna, bio steam sauna and multifunctional shower are at your disposal.
You will have the whole area for yourself, if you reserve it!
Restaurant
The comfortable dining room with its unique view of "Vallunga" and the "Puez" mountain range. Mussner Gewin, the cook of the house, will spoil you with his home-made dishes and you will enjoy special culinary moments. We offer specially prepared dishes for vegetarians, allergic persons.
Bar/Lounge with view of the Langkofel and the Schlern. Enjoy the sunset with a cup of coffee and some home-made cake!
