We needed a place high in the valley to facilitate walking and nature study. We found this place and booked in for four days. It was strangely quiet, but we liked it.
A lovely room with large balcony outside a well appointed room. The food was good, varied and well prepared by Chef Gunter, who once he had overcome his 'reserve' was friendly and helpful. The area is just by the final car park of the valley which made for easy access to the many marked walks. Wildlife and bird watching was very good and the scenery superb.
We will return again.
