Sonnenberg is a guesthouse, not a hotel. This means the owners are 120% involved and always have their guests' well-being in mind. And that's certainly the case here. Better because it's more personal than a hotel. Cozier and more affordable than an apartment elsewhere in the village. Fantastic! There's a cycling and hiking trail along the river, so the climb is never too steep. The train and bus are within walking distance, so you can reach Merano in an hour. We brought our own bikes since you can't rent them nearby. What hospitality, what a setting, what an experience!
